EMERGENCY and AFTER HOURS CARE

A Medcom physician is available 24 hours a day by calling the main regional number (609) 646-4064.

After hours, our answering service will take your information and the physician on call will contact you.

If you have a life threatening emergency, go at once to the nearest emergency room and ask someone there to contact us.

Some insurance companies require notification when a patient is seen by a physician other than their designated primary care provider in the hospital emergency room. Please review your insurance policy and be aware of their requirements in an emergency situation.

GENERAL APPOINTMENT POLICIES

Patients are seen Monday through Friday, with varying hours for each office. Our offices are closed on Memorial Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day. If you are unable to keep your appointment, it must be cancelled 24 hours in advance. If you do not show up for your appointment and did not call to cancel, it is office policy to add a no-show charge of $20 to your account.

REFERRAL POLICY

Medcom Health Services wants to work with you and your insurance company.

Please use the following guidelines to receive the best service:

- No out-of-plan referrals will be accepted with any insurance.

- We cannot accept past dated referrals nor provide service unless the referral is current. To prevent such a situation, please contact our office 5 business days before the scheduled visit.
